JEE MAIN 2014 Application Form

To apply for JEE, candidates are required to fill the JEE Main 2014 Application Form. It would be available from 15 November 2013 on the official exam website.  Candidates can complete the application submission process  till 26 December 2013.

Changes in Application Process of 2014

Unlike previous years, this time application form process has been made completely online. That means from filling the form to submitting of the documents, all of the steps have to be fulfilled on the official site itself.

Process of Form Submission

  • Download the information bulletin/admission brochure from the official website: jeemain.nic.in to read the eligibility criteria to apply.
  • Click the link titled as “Apply Online” to open the application form page.
  • Fill the form with correct personal, educational and correspondence details.
  • Upload scanned images of photograph, thumb impression, signatures and all the relevant documents.
  • Pay the examination fee via e-challan or credit/debit card.
  • Verify all the details and submit the form.
  • Download the acknowledgement slip and generate printouts.

Important Instructions

  • Do not send multiple forms.
  • No claim to refund fee would be entertained in any case.
  • No documents must be sent to the JEE Main office as the process of application form has been made TOTALLY ONLINE.
  • The name to be filled in the application form must be similar to the one mentioned in Class XII certificate.
  • If the result of QE is to be declared after June 2014, candidates are suggested that they don’t fill the form.

Form Fee Payment, Methods

Candidates can pay the examination fee via either e-challan or credit/debit card. Details of these methods are given as follows:

  • E-challan: download the challan from the website and take its printout. Visit the nearest branch of Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank or ICICI Bank and submit the fee.
  • Credit Card: Visit the exam site and make the online payment.

Form Submission for Odisha and Maharashtra Candidates

All the admissions in engineering UG programs in Maharashtra and Odisha will be made on the basis of JEE Main 2014, hence candidates from these states have to fill the application form as well. Candidates can follow the same procedure as mentioned above to submit the application form.

Note: Gujarat has already accepted the JEE system since last year.
